The Brockville Police Service handled a high number of calls in April, highlighting growing demands on officers and the wide range of incidents they face daily.
Police say officers responded to 1,373 occurrences during the month. These included fire scenes, bomb threats, serious assaults, break and enters, drug-related offences and other complex investigations.
Despite the volume and severity of calls, officers also maintained a strong focus on traffic enforcement and public safety. In total, 160 traffic-related charges and 135 criminal charges were laid.
Police say the numbers reflect the dedication and professionalism of officers working under demanding conditions. The service continues to respond to a variety of situations while supporting community safety and well-being.
