A Brockville business is hoping to sell 1,000 commemorative lawn signs this year to support local veterans and their families as the Royal Canadian Legion marks its 100th anniversary.
Ketchum Manufacturing is bringing back its veteran recognition campaign after selling nearly 4,000 signs over the past four years. The effort has raised more than $61,000 for Brockville Legion Branch 96’s Poppy Fund.
The money helps the Legion support local veterans and families facing financial challenges. Ketchum says last year’s donation has already been spent, with more families needing help this year.
The new signs feature a special 100th anniversary logo and are available in two sizes: 24-by-16-inch lawn signs and larger four-by-eight-foot signs.
Businesses can order online or visit Ketchum Manufacturing at 1245 California Ave. in Brockville. In-person orders are accepted weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The company is encouraging businesses to take part and help reach this year’s 1,000-sign goal.
