The project is expected to create a new gathering space at the park while construction continues through the coming months
Construction on Brockville’s new Reynolds Park Pavilion is set to begin this week, but visitors to the popular waterfront park will have to make some temporary changes.
The Reynolds Park parking lot will close to the public as it becomes a staging area for Kehoe Construction, the company working on the pavilion project.
A section of the Brock Trail that runs through Reynolds Park will also be closed while construction is underway.
The closures are expected to remain in place until January 2027.
The planned pavilion will overlook the St. Lawrence River and feature open sides, a peaked roof and waterfront seating connected to a walkway.
The project is expected to create a new gathering space at the park while construction continues through the coming months.
