Brockville's new mayor and council to be sworn in Nov. 17

The first regular council meeting is scheduled for Nov. 24

Brockville Mayor Cameron Wales and councillors will officially be sworn in Nov. 17 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.

Wales says he's excited to work with a city council that includes five new members.

Wales says task number one will be the 2027 budget.

Other top priorities right off the bat include making appointments to their boards and committees relatively early in the term, and hiring a new city manager.

The first regular council meeting is scheduled for Nov. 24.

Residents are welcome to attend both meetings.
