The River Route transit service will start later than usual this morning due to ongoing freezing rain and unsafe road conditions.
Officials say the service is delayed until at least 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 29. Road conditions will be reassessed before service resumes, and further updates will be shared as they become available.
The delay comes as freezing rain continues to create icy and hazardous conditions across the region, making travel difficult.
Transit officials say the safety of both passengers and operators remains the top priority during severe weather.
Riders are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and monitor official updates for the latest information on service changes.
