The man behind it all, George Tackaberry said it means everything to him and his family.
Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MPP, Steve Clark said it's a game changer for long-term care in the area.
Brockville General Hospital President and CEO, Julie Caffin said it creates more options locally.
Corinna Smith-Gatke, Warden for the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville said it was a monumental day for the Counties.
The event featured guided tours, speeches and a reception following the outdoor ceremony. Local dignitaries, elected officials, project members and senior county staff in attendance.
