The Brockville Police Service says it continues to respond to daily calls while a major investigation from last week remains underway. Officers say regular patrols and emergency responses are ongoing to protect community safety.
Recent incidents include a May 8 call involving a youth who ran onto Highway 401 and was later arrested after a Taser was deployed during a safety intervention.
On May 9, officers arrested a 39-year-old man wanted for break and enter and probation breaches after he fled on foot and was found in a basement on Central Avenue.
On May 10, two intoxicated youths caused a disturbance at a vigil in Centeen Park and were taken to hospital. On May 11, a driver was charged with drug-impaired driving after failing sobriety testing.
Police also warn of rising graffiti damage across the city and ask residents to report suspicious activity. Reports can be made online or through Crime Stoppers.
