Staff are urging the public to give what they can to help make sure local families have access to the basics this season
The South Grenville Food Bank is reporting another surge in need as the holiday season approaches, with staff warning that demand is not slowing down.
Manager Bonnie Cougler says the community has been generous, but the food bank continues to face steady pressure as more families seek support.
Cougler outlined a couple ways residents can donate.
She added that anyone who prefers to donate in person is welcome to visit the food bank directly.
The organization is also encouraging people to think about high-need products that are often overlooked during the holiday rush, such as baby items and everyday essentials.
The food bank says this year’s holiday push is critical as more households struggle with rising food prices and higher living costs.
Staff are urging the public to give what they can to help make sure local families have access to the basics this season.
