Four Seniors Active Living Centres in Leeds & Grenville are receiving a total of 212,040 dollars in annual provincial funding during Seniors Month, the Ontario government said.
The money will support programs at Brockville Senior Citizens Inc., Walker House Adult Recreation Centre, Seniors' Community Services, and the Golden Years Program.
For 60 years, Seniors Active Living Centres in Ontario have provided activities that help seniors stay healthy, social and connected in their communities.
Local supporters say the funding will make a real difference for older adults across the region.
