The public is encouraged to vote on Oct. 26
Ahead of the Oct. 26 municipal election, Brockville mayoral candidates Tom Linton and Cameron Wales discussed property taxes and much more at a mayoral debate at the Arts Hub last night.
Wales said annual increases of about three per cent were reasonable.
Linton argued attracting industry and creating more jobs could boost city revenue and help reduce the tax burden.
Prior to the debate, the full crowd also heard from the 14 council candidates, and the four candidates for school board trustees, as well.
The public is encouraged to vote on Oct. 26.
