The project is expected to be complete in September
The City of Brockville says work on the William Street and Stewart Boulevard CN overpass is going as planned. CN confirmed that flaggers will be on site in August.
The overpass closed in February, with construction expected to last until September. The 30-week project has shut down all lanes—northbound and southbound—between Eleanor Street and Brock Street.
Drivers have been avoiding the area and following the detours.
The project aims to upgrade aging infrastructure for long-term safety and traffic flow.
The City is thanking residents and businesses for their patience during the work. More updates are expected as the project moves closer to completion.
