The labour disruption is set to enter its fourth week next week, increasing pressure on both workers and employers as the dispute continues
OPSEU-represented workers from three local agencies staged a protest outside local MPP Steve Clark’s constituency office on Wednesday as part of a provincewide labour action.
The demonstration follows a protest held last week outside Clark’s residence as workers continue pressing for progress in an ongoing labour dispute.
Clark said his focus remains on advocating for funding to support the local agencies involved in the strike.
He said a protest outside an elected official's office has never happened before in the riding.
Clark said he hopes the dispute is resolved at the bargaining table, not at his house or outside his constituency office.
The labour disruption is set to enter its fourth week next week, increasing pressure on both workers and employers as the dispute continues.
