Residents in North Augusta are being invited to help decide the theme for this year’s Labour Day Parade, one of the most anticipated events of the community’s annual festival.
The Labour Day Festival is a longstanding tradition in the village and draws strong support from local families each year.
The parade is a major attraction, featuring decorated floats and community groups, and often leaves attendees breathless.
Adrian Wynands, Deputy Mayor of Augusta Township, said there are four theme options residents can choose from for this year’s parade.
Wynands also explained how community members can cast their votes and take part in shaping the event.
