Wylie expressed gratitude to the hospital's nurses, physicians and staff for their outstanding care
Bruce Wylie has shared an update following his retirement, detailing a successful heart valve replacement at Kingston General Hospital.
However, his stay at KGH included a handful of unexpected complications with kidney and blood pressure concerns, and a hospital room flood caused by a burst pipe while the nurse was just about to check his vitals, he said.
Wylie also had to have a pacemarker inserted in his heart.
Thankfully, the doctor was able to do the operation at 2 p.m. Sunday and he was able to return home Monday.
Wylie expressed gratitude to the hospital's nurses, physicians and staff for their outstanding care.
