The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville say Brockville’s temporary warming centre will move to a new location later this winter. Starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15, the centre will operate from 166 Pearl St. East, inside the vacant EarlyON Centre at Commonwealth Public School. The space has a separate east-side entrance.
County officials say the move will better serve people seeking shelter during the coldest months of the year. The warming centre will continue to run seven days a week from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., staffed by two support workers and monitored by on-site security.

The counties also thanked residents near the former site for their patience. Meanwhile, the LLGAMH Drop-In Centre at 25 Front Ave. West has extended hours until April 30, 2026.
