Police have charged two men with impaired driving after separate incidents in Brockville and Stewart Blvd.
On February 25, a 35-year-old man from Iroquois was arrested after his vehicle swerved into oncoming traffic and left the roadway, ending in a ditch on Stewart Blvd. He faces charges of impaired operation by drug and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
No injuries were reported. His driver’s license was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Early on February 26, a 56-year-old Brockville man was stopped after erratic driving that nearly caused a collision with a police cruiser. He faces charges including impaired operation by alcohol, exceeding blood alcohol limits, and failing to yield from a private drive.
