In both cases, the drivers were charged with impaired operation and having a blood alcohol level over 80 milligrams
Two drivers are facing charges after separate impaired driving incidents in Brockville on April 25.
Police say the first arrest happened around 12:30 a.m. on Parkedale Avenue. An officer stopped a vehicle travelling slowly that pulled over without reason. A 40-year-old woman showed signs of alcohol use and was arrested. Breath tests later confirmed she was over the legal limit. Her vehicle was impounded, and her licence was suspended.
The second incident occurred at about 11:15 p.m. on Perth Street. Officers found a vehicle blocking the entrance to the Via Rail station. A 22-year-old man was identified as the driver. Police say he failed a roadside breath test and was taken for further testing, which confirmed impairment.
In both cases, the drivers were charged with impaired operation and having a blood alcohol level over 80 milligrams. Both were released with future court dates.
