Every donation helps provide safe spaces for children, meals for families, and support for seniors
United Way Leeds & Grenville has reached the halfway mark of its $900,000 fundraising campaign, raising $450,000 thanks to community support. The non-profit works to address local needs including housing, food security, mental health, and youth programs.
Pamela Robertson, a UWLG Cabinet Member, said the milestone reflects the “kindness, generosity, and belief in one another” in the region, but added that more support is still needed.
Every donation helps provide safe spaces for children, meals for families, and support for seniors. UWLG encourages residents to contribute, noting that every gift can make a real difference in people’s lives.
The campaign continues until the $900,000 goal is reached. Community members can donate online at www.uwlg.org, by phone, or in person. For more information, contact Hailie Jack, Executive Director, at ed@uwlg.org or 613-342-8889.
This local effort aims to build a stronger, more resilient Leeds & Grenville community.
