United Way emphasized that the sale is about securing its future, not reducing services, and said it remains focused on helping people throughout the region
United Way Leeds & Grenville is reassuring residents that it is not closing or leaving the region after listing its building at 42 George St. for sale.
The organization said the sale is part of a long-term strategy to strengthen its financial sustainability and ensure it can continue supporting local programs, community partners and residents across Leeds and Grenville.
In a public statement, United Way said a future move could result in a new address, but its commitment to the region remains unchanged. The organization described the decision as part of planning for its “next chapter” and said it will share updates as the process moves forward.
The property, currently occupied by United Way, is a 3,700-square-foot commercial building in downtown Brockville. The listing highlights flexible office space, meeting rooms, accessibility features and on-site parking.
United Way emphasized that the sale is about securing its future, not reducing services, and said it remains focused on helping people throughout the region.
