The city's 2026 curbside leaf collection runs during the weeks of Oct. 26 to 30 and Nov. 23 to 27, on residents' regular collection days
Brockville residents waiting for their leaf bags to disappear from the curb may have to wait a little longer, as the city says its fall leaf collection is running behind schedule.
The City of Brockville says crews are working to catch up and all leaf bags are expected to be collected by Friday, Oct. 30.
Residents are asked to leave their bags at the curb until pickup and make sure they follow the city's collection rules.
Leaves must be placed in paper bags or reusable containers labelled for leaf collection. Paper bags cannot be taped or stapled, and leaves in plastic bags will not be collected.
The city's 2026 curbside leaf collection runs during the weeks of Oct. 26 to 30 and Nov. 23 to 27, on residents' regular collection days.
Leaves should be placed out before 7 a.m. Crews use a separate vehicle, meaning bags may be collected before or after garbage and recycling.
