Tait’s will have a soft reopening tomorrow starting at 10 a.m.
A familiar Brockville bakery is preparing to welcome customers back with a fresh face and a new generation at the helm.
Brockville native Elizabeth Barlow is getting ready to take over Tait’s Bakery, bringing her pastry and baking education to the long-standing local business.
Barlow plans to add her own personality to the bakery while keeping the traditions that have helped make Tait’s a familiar name in the community.
The move also marks a new chapter for Barlow, who is looking forward to becoming part of Brockville’s business community and celebrating the people who support local businesses.
Tait’s will have a soft reopening Saturday starting at 10 a.m. It will be on a first come, first serve basis until they run out of pies and buns. The official reopening date is Oct. 19.
The reopening will give Brockville residents a chance to enjoy familiar Tait’s traditions alongside Barlow’s fresh perspective as the bakery begins its next chapter.
