The closure does not affect CRCHC staff or patients
The Mallorytown Unattached Patient Clinic will close Oct. 30, as Ontario works to connect residents with long-term primary care.
The Upper Canada Family Health Team says multiple providers in the Mallorytown community are actively accepting new patients. The clinic is winding down as residents are connected with primary care providers.
The team said it is proud of the work Dr. Redekopp and his staff have completed at the clinic over the past few years. It said residents will be better served through long-term, comprehensive primary care.
Residents without a family doctor or nurse practitioner are being encouraged to register with Health Care Connect. Registration is available online through ontario.ca/healthcareconnect or by calling 811.
Those registering will need contact information, an Ontario health card number and health information, including chronic conditions and recent health concerns.
The closure does not affect CRCHC staff or patients.
